How we started

Our love for Operation Christmas Child grew as we began buying items in bulk for church packing parties and our own shoebox gifts. From this passion and the guidance of the Holy Spirit sprang the idea of The GO Store— a store where everyone can benefit from bulk pricing and ease of a one-stop shop for building shoebox gifts.

God has grown the original mission of The GO Store greatly in the past few years. It is now open year-round helping local individuals, ministries and nonprofits. The store also has year-round volunteers, encouraging individuals to grow in areas they are passionate about, including crafting, repurposing, sorting, pricing, to name a few.

The Go Store added Kim Fox as co-director in 2019.  With former employment in management and ministry, she excels in leadership and coordinating ministry efforts at the store.  She is involved in many operations that allow the ministry to thrive.  She has volunteered for OCC for years before her employment and is passionate in improving the dynamics of the store to ensure customers have a great experience.
